NICHOLAS J., age 26. Suddenly on March 6, 2011. Beloved son of Karen and the late Tony Sr. and stepson of Dennis Stasen. Loving fiancee of Jessica Ford. Dear brother of Tony (Melanie) and Joey. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Friday 11 A.M. Holy Innocents Church "L" St. and Hunting Park Ave. Phila., PA 19124, where his Viewing will begin at 9 A.M. Int. private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contribu-tions to the Mickey Gallagher Foundation, 229 Wayne Ave. Springfield, PA 19064.

To Nick family and friends,
Although Nicky and I were never friends, but just knew eachother through Holy Inn and Juniata, I was very deeply sadden by his untimely passing. I pray for all of you, especially his mother, brothers, and fiance that you can hopefully move on and remember all those special memories you have with Nicky. I pray that he is resting peacely with his father up in heaven. Remember not only has God gained an Angel but each and evrey one of you have received a special Guardian Angel to watch over you for the rest of your lives. May Nicky rest in peace and his love and memories live on forever in everyone that known and loved him!

I was a dear friend of Nick grandparents, Tony (the policeman) & Patsy (the redhead), who lived in Meritt Square back in the 1970's and I remember Nick's father Tony as an adorable little boy with big dark eyes. While I have not seen any of the family in years, since both grandparents untimely deaths, I can only imagine that Nick must have been a great fellow, with having such wonderful greatparents.

There are no words to describe the pain your going through and how much of a loss Nicky Rod will be to all his family and friends. He was an amazing friend. I have lots of memories,deep conversations, as well as pictures I will never forget. The pictures that stand out the most are the ones with his arms crossed, which resembles a group "La Familia" we've started among some friends about 10 years ago. Karen: I remember Nicky from the little energetic boy that he was and the lovely and wonderful man that he became. I was at young Joe McCourt's one time talking to him and I am so glad that I got the chance to tell him how handsome and what a great guy he grew up to be and he hugged me with that big smile and said thank you. PEO 143 shared beat 301 with 204 thru our trial period it was easier to get tvrs with him. To share complaints and difficulties. I enjoyed hearing about his engagement. The beat wont be the same without 204. Just to let you know cars have been towed and impounded for all the tvrs he has written, they tell me mostly every time I am out there.LOL

To Jess and the Rod Family,
There are so many memories of Nick that I will never forget. One of my favorite memories is awkwardly trying to fix his sling under his sweatshirt while we Christmas shopped with his broken arm. Or him thinking the "fake football helmet" I was wearing was real and headbutting me! Or his awesome two-steps and Rod Harlem Shake dances. We were blessed that he came into our lives and we got to spend as much time with him as we did. I always felt like he was a little brother to me. I will never forget his smile, his laugh or his love and kindness for his friends and family. He will hold a special place in my heart FOREVER <3

My heart is broken after learning of the passing of Nick. Karen their are no words to help comfort you during this very difficult time. I want you to know I am here for you anytime if you need to talk or vent. No Parent should have to bury their children. I know that Stephen & Matthew were there to greet Nick.
