My heartfelt sympathy to the family during this difficult time. I hope you will find comfort in
God's promise at John 11:24,25. Knowing that there is a future for the one we have lost in death
can be reassuring.----

I wish I had words for the whole family who lost a son, a father, a brother, an uncle, and a friend. We some times forget how many roles just one person has in this world. And how many people he touched. As Christmas approaches, remember the good years with Nick. Jesus is the reason for this Season. He will bring comfort in His timing and differently for each of us. Let yourselves grieve at your pace, each will be different, respect the difference . Support each other, be quiet when you need to. You have my prayers that the break in your hearts will be healed and filled ith all the magical memories Nick left for us. I know my brother Denny and Anita could not set a wedding date until Nick came home. Before I met him I knew his presence was important. And he looked just like this picture. I am so happy we were able to connect again a few months ago. Yes Nick, you earned that DD Form 214!

Sarah, I am so very sorry for the loss of your Dad and when you look heavenward on a clear starry night remember this old eskimo saying; "Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy." Your Dad is forever with you in the countless little things. Jay and I love you so very much! Mom
