NICK MINNICK

NICK MINNICK, 75, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Born in Columbia City, Ind., Nick was the son of the late Clarence and Florence Minnick. He worked in the Heating and Cooling Industry until his retirement. Nick was an avid model airplane builder. He enjoyed flying his completed projects and belongs to Flying Circuits. Nick was a tinkerer around the house and was willing to give his time to others that were in need. Surviving are his companion, Diane May of Fort Wayne; children, Lana (Ron) Case, Gloria Lowen, and Tonia (Brian Pelfrey) England, all of Columbia City, John (Ann) Minnick of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Joshua (Renee) Case, Shannon Case, Taylor (Britt) Lowen, Kyle England, Ciera England, Brady Minnick, and Jordan Minnick; eight great - grandchildren; and siblings, Eileen Easterday, Ethel Marie Swaim, Martha Fulk, and William (Wilma) Minnick. Nick was also preceded in death by his daughter, Christina Minnick; granddaughter, Tiffani England; siblings, James Minnick, Sam Minnick, Donald Minnick, Arthur Minnick, and Evelyn Gardner; and son-in-law, Kevin Lowen. Service is 10 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2018, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Riley Children's Hospital.
