Nicole Dowdell Obituary
Nicole was beautiful, funny, and full of life Ñ obvious to everyone by her contagious smile. If there was fun to be had, Nicole was ready. She was a loving and caring friend, always quick to give encouragement and love to those who needed it most. Nicole had great sensitivity and insight into others heartaches. She was blessed with great compassion and an ability to help and lift her friends. She was always striving to align her choices with her deepest desires. Nicole loved laughing with her friends, having fun with family, and expressing herself through scrap booking.
She was loved by all her friends and family, and by so many who wish they could have told her. She loved her Father in Heaven and now fully understands His love for her. She will be profoundly missed.
Nicole is survived by her mother, Karalynn Dowdell and father, Brad Dowdell, brothers Nicholas and Collin, and her younger sister Kaytlin. She is also survived by her grandparents and many cousins, aunts and uncles who adored her.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 27, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cascade Chapel at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State St. Orem. Friends and family may call 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.sundbergolpinmortuary.com.

To Nicole's Family:
May you all rejoice in Nicole's life and be happy she is in such a wonderful place. She will not be gone from you long for I know she will be near you throughout your lifes. Nicki is with dear friends who will watch over her and keep her safe.
I know she loved her Father in Heaven and he is now showing his true love for her.
I know it may be hard at times like this to be strong but you have to for Nicki. She will live the rest of her life preparing for her family to join her; at their time. I know she will forgive herself and be very happy.
Pray to her in this time of pain, for she will help you get thru it the best she can. Cling close to the ones who love you and cared for Nicki.
I am greatly sorry that she had to leave us so young, but please hold on to your faith and know she will be with you again. At these times of grieving, Nicole's dear friends will be able to share their love for Nicole with you.
I will forever miss her and I look forward to seeing her again soon. I am dearly sorry for her passing. Please be strong! Thank you for bringing such a beautiful daughter into this world. I am so happy to have been able to share such a short part of life with her.

dear brad and family/betty, i am so sorry to hear bout you daughters death. i have not seen you or doug for along time and i'm sorry again i could not get to larrys funeral, larry meant alot to me as you and doug both new. i do not know the circumstance of your loss but i can relate to your sorrow and grief because i just lost my only son in car accident in which it was not his fault, but keep your faith in our savior and i know without a shadow of doubt that your grief and sorrow will get better as time goes on! it is hard to understand at first why my son had to be the one?i know now that when it is your time to go there is nothing that you or i can do or say. the plan of salvation will help you so much to read about,study,pray and live for that time.enjoy your life because your sweet daughter would not want you to grieve and cry.if ever you need to talk to someone my number is 362-6077.my phone is on 24-7.keep your chins up and believe she is in a better place and you will see her again.jill and i willpray for you and your dear mother,betty. god bless you, jay sullivan.

Nicki was the goofiest girl I ever knew. She could always make us laugh no matter what we were doing. She would always ride in my back seat of the car and sing the songs or just tell us funny stories. Taking the Nicki out of out lives is going to be really hard to adjust. I will miss you, Nicki.
