Noel C. Albertson

Noel C. Albertson, Sr., of Newtown Square, PA formerly of Media, PA passed away at the age of 91 on January 26, 2021 at the White Horse Village Senior Living Community in Newtown Square. He was born November 4, 1929 in Philadelphia to the late Noel & Helen (Stockley) Albertson. Noel graduated from Franklin and Marshall College with a BS in History. From there he went on to serve his country in the US Air Force as a lieutenant stationed in England. After serving in the Air Force Noel came home and married his wife, Claudette. They raised 4 children, Noel Jr, Chris, Tim and Jenna. Noel worked for Ebsco Industries selling advertising before leaving to go out on his own forming Quadra Marketing systems. When he retired he spent most of his time in Brigantine, NJ, where he enjoyed sand, surf, napping and playing (usually losing) backgammon. Noel was always happiest when he and his wife were joined by their kids and spouses, and eventually by grandchildren, Josh, Emily, Ben and Zoe at their shore house. Through it all, Noel's passion for music was renowned. In addition to his parents, Noel was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Claudette, his Sister Judy and his son Tim. Survivors include: His children, Noel Jr, Chris and Jenna. Their spouses Carolyn, Diana, Wendy (Tim) and Lance and his grandchildren Josh, Emily, Ben and Zoe. A graveside service will be held this April 10th at 11:30 am at Media Cemetery on the Orange Street side for both Noel and Claudette. Noel asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to any of the following; The Alzheimer's Association (ALZ.org) in memory of his wife, Claudette. The ALS Foundation (ALS.org) in memory of his son, Tim.
