Norma Wilkerson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 29, 2017.
Norma Wilkerson Norma Wilkerson was born in Flint, Michigan 78 years ago and died at her home in Los Osos on January 15, 2017. She is survived by her husband Charles; daughter Rae; sister Gail Chapple; and numerous nieces and nephews. Norma was the nicest person you could be fortunate enough to know, always thoughtful of others and non-judgmental. She was a sweet and giving person who only saw the best in all she knew. Norma dealt with numerous debilitating illnesses in her life, never complaining but maintaining a positive outlook. She was one tough lady. The family would like to acknowledge Doctors Patrick Vaughan, Barry Eibschutz, Andrea Tackett and Jeffrey Eidelman who cared for her over the past several years. Thank you also to Wilshire Hospice for helping us to keep her comfortable at home. We would also like to extend a special thank you to our wonderful neighbors Judy West, Virginia Jensen and Ron Bass for their help and comfort. At Norma's request no services will be held. Chatted with her and her husband on our almost daily walks. She always remembered my dog's names. Smiling and friendly even when wearing a body brace.

I've seen Charlie and Norma often during their morning walks in Los Osos. She (and Charlie) always had a friendly greeting whenever we met. You and your family are in my prayers.
