Norman Cerasoli

Cerasoli 1938~2021 Norman Cerasoli, 83 of Pleasantville, NJ passed away on November 8, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, Norman was the son of the late James and Edith (Russo) Cerasoli. He graduated from Yeadon High School Class of 1955. Norman immediately took to the skies after high school towing banners up and down his beloved New Jersey shores. He went on to graduate from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical Flight School in Tamimi Florida. Norman began a career with American Airlines in 1964 that lasted 34 years and he continued to fly his personal aircraft in his spare time. Norman also had a love of the water where he sailed things from hobi cats to cabin cruisers in many oceans around the world. He had a love of adventure that carried him from the streets of Europe to the streets of Philadelphia where he participated in the Mummer's Day Parade yearly for close to forty years. Norman is proceeded in death by his wife Irene (Marshall) of 17 years He was preceded in death by his grandson Nicholas Cerasoli and his sister Carol (Cerasoli) Cuffari. He is survived by children Jeff (Susan) Cerasoli of Chandler, AZ, Marc Cerasoli of Jacksonville, FL, Chris (Susan Myers) Cerasoli of Collingswood, NJ and Gary (Stacey) Cerasoli of Newnan, GA; his 4 grandchildren Nikole Cerasoli of Jacksonville, FL, Luca, Gabriel and Ella Cerasoli of Chandler, AZ; and his step-grandchildren Katie Queener and Joseph Queener of Newnan, GA; and his niece Cindy (Cuffari) Lang of Grapevine TX. Funeral services will be conducted under current COVID guidelines, including face masks and social distancing. Family and friends may attend a Visitation and Funeral Mass for Norman on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 1101 Main Street, Darby, PA 19023 Visitation begins at 9:30 am with the service immediately following.
