Dear Jean and family. I just read in the paper where Norman passed away. I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am to hear that. It was always my prayer that he would beat his illness. But, sometimes God has another plan for our lives. Norman was always so kind to me, and I enjoy our quick little chats at the restaurant. I'll always remember when I'd ask him how he was feeling, he'd wiggle his hand and say so-so. Or when he'd check out he'd always makes sure I knew he was an "old man" so I'd be sure to give him his senior discount. I pray now that God comforts you and your family and brings you peace. My deepest sympathy.

Wish we could have made it to see you more, I'm sure mom will be waiting with a big hug. You'll be missed gramps. P.s. Nathan sure loves beef steak still, maybe more than his great grandpa.
