Pat Ryan & family, Simmons family: Colleen was close to the Lord Jesus Christ. Her faith in his salvation brought great comfort, courage & strength to her. Her deep love and gratitude to Him was shown in her Proverbs 31 life. She and her children brought great peace and encouragement to me whenever we met at church. Thankyou Lord for her and using her in so many people's lives. Her time on earth was short, but Lord you always know what's best. Bring courage and peace to all who miss her. Jan Warner

I worked with Colleen on A3, she was a great nurse and friend and made even the worst shift better just by being there and having her great attitude, she was never too busy to help her friends at work. She was just a wonderful, loving and caring person and will be greatly missed, but will be at peace in heaven.

To the Simmons Family: I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Colleen and always thought very highly of her. She was an excellent nurse and extremely thoughtful and compassionate with her patients. Nothing ever seemed to bother her at work either.....she could have had the most stressful day and always appeared so calm and relaxed - patients loved her! She was a truly kind and nice person and a pleasure to be around. My thoughts are with you at this time.

As a mom of one of "Coach Simmons" cheerleaders, words cannot express how deeply we all will feel her loss. Colleen is an inspiration to devotion and to giving to others. She worked long, hard hours for "her girls" in cheerleading and always expressed concern for the well being. She was a very devoted Coach. Many times, Coach Simmons would pick up the girls for practice and drop them off afterwards, no matter how tired or maybe not well she felt, she never, ever let the Schuylerville Cheerleading Team down. She was devoted to the girls. I want to take this time to express my deepest sympathy to Colleen's family and to all of her friends as well as the Schuylerville Varsity Cheerleading team girls past and present. As a parent, I also admired her courage, her devotion and her tenacity. We will all miss her very much.
