Ryan BENNETT Obituary

Published by Vancouver Sun and/or The Province from Aug. 5 to Aug. 6, 2017.
BENNETT, Ryan Keith
September 12, 1973 – July 26, 2017
With heavy hearts and profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Ryan Keith Bennett on July 26, 2017. Survived by his loving family, parents Ron and Elizabeth, brother Sean, sister-in-law Rita and nephew Nolan and will be deeply missed by Karla, Maggie and his 2-year-old son, Boston. Ryan will also be deeply missed by Uncles Roger (Barb), Ray (Gwen) and Auntie Jacquie along with very close cousins, Leslie, Christine, Dean, Aaron, Odessa, Dallas, their partners and many close friends. Ryan was born in Vancouver and shortly moved to North Delta where he spent his formative years. He graduated from N. Delta Secondary in 1991 and was a proud member of the Huskies football team in his senior years. His two greatest young passions were football and movies, especially Star Wars. His amazing creativity and imagination took many avenues. His young work life took him in several directions, mostly entrepreneurial. His last working years were devoted to counselling administration for addiction services. The last several years along his path brought him in an intense and deeply spiritual direction. Our avid Star Wars fan is now somewhere in the galaxy. In lieu of flowers a donation would be appreciated to a trust fund for his young son, Boston. Cheques can be made out to "In Trust for Boston Bennett". A donation box will be available at the Service or can be mailed to R. Bennett at #420 -625 Howe St., Vancouver, V6C 2T6. The Memorial Service is to be held at Victory Memorial Park, 14831 28th Ave, Surrey B.C. at 1:00 p.m. August 12. Condolences may be offered at www.victoryfuneralcentre.ca.
