Olga Lee (Swim) Hartman, 79, of Stillwater, died on Wednesday, April 29, 2009, in Stillwater. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday in First Presbyterian Church with Dr. B. Gordon Edwards officiating. She was born on Nov. 30, 1929, in Stillwater, to E. E. "Bustie" Swim and Goldie Marie (Gildersleeve) Swim. She married Glen Harris Hartman on April 9, 1948, in Cushing. She worked as an administrative assistant in the Agronomy Department at Oklahoma State University. At the end of her career at OSU, she spent a year in Morocco with Glen working with the USAID Program. This was a very special time for both of them. She enjoyed being a member of two bridge clubs for many years as well as Square Dance Fellowship and the Idella Lohman Ballroom Dance Club. She was also a member of Business and Professional Women. She always put her family first and dearly loved all her children and grandchildren. She and her brother sponsored numerous family reunions at various locations for the family. She was preceded in death by her parents.She is survived by her husband, Glen Hartman, of Stillwater; three sons, David Hartman and his wife, Pam, of Stillwater, Richard Hartman and his wife, Grace, of Tucson, Ariz. and Robert Hartman and his wife, SunYoung, of Redondo Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren, Matthew Hartman and his wife, Katie, of Corvallis, Ore., Jane Ann Englese and her husband, Al, of New York City, N.Y., Todd Hartman of Shepherdstown, W.V. and Luke Hartman of Shepherdstown; one great grandchild, Izabella Hartman of Corvallis, Ore.; one brother, Bill Swim and his wife, Janice, of Cookeville, Tenn.; three sisters, Gail Thomas of Stillwater, Ann McGuire and her husband, David, of Okay and Martha Sanford of San Jose, Calif.; and special niece, Leva Kay Swim; as well as many other nieces and nephews. The passing of this lovely lady leaves an enormous gap in the lives of all who knew her. She was a friendly generous hearted soul and I will never forget how her smile lit up a room.
