Olivia "Jackie" V Dean

Olivia "Jackie" V. Dean, born on August 5, 1952, passed away on November 6, 2024, in Fremont, California, surrounded by family and cherished memories.

Jackie was the beloved daughter of Luisa Beeler and Joseph Herrera. She grew up in a large and lively blended family with four sisters and six brothers: Alyce, Joseph (Joe), Henry (Hank), Robert (Bobby), Linda, Eddie, Rebecca (Becky), Vicky, Peter, and Joe. Jackie attended Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, California, where she began forming the foundation of her vibrant and spirited life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald (Ron) Dean.

A devoted mother, Jackie is survived by her four children: April Carpenter and spouse Alan Carpenter, Michael Dean and spouse Alecia Dean, Heather Dean, and Bobby Dean. Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren-Zoey, Zack, Andrea, Emily, Kylee, Jordan, Gabriel, and Levi-who brought immense joy to her life.

Jackie was known for her deep love of children and family. Her quick wit, sassiness, and sharp sense of humor left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She found joy in simple pleasures like playing bingo and trying her luck at the slots (which she won more times than not) -moments that reflected her playful spirit and zest for life.

Jackie's warmth and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind as they celebrate a life well-lived.
