OREN STUTES Obituary
Oren graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. He served in the United States Air Force as a corporal for two years. Oren retired from Gulf Oil as a supervisor in the Electrical Department with 32 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Gloria Stutes.
He is survived by his son, Rodney Stutes and his wife, Sandy of Port Arthur, his grandchildren, Brian Stutes and Susan Baker and her husband, Ron, one great granddaughter, Phoebe Hall, one step great grandson, Cayden Baker along with his sister, Irene Gans Harget of Port Arthur, his sister-in-law, Kathleen Gougenheim and her husband, Tom as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 10:00 AM to Noon at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park with Military Funeral honors.
