FEDERKO _With sorrowful hearts, the family announces the passing of Orishia Carolyn (Dublanica) Federko on December 29, 2003 at the age of 39 years young. She left us as she lived; spiritual, compassionate, and dignified during her one year struggle with a brain tumour. Her concerns were not of herself but for her family and friends. Born May 15, 1964 to Lillian Fedoriuk and Stan Dublanica in Wadena SK. Raised in Wishart SK until the move to Saskatoon in 1977. She attended Estey Elementary School, Mount Royal High School (1982) and continued onto Kelsey Technical Institute (1983) for what began her career in hair design. Determination to be the best she could, setting a high standard of excellence for herself, and therefore; setting an example for others. She thrived on the travelling, competitions, and awards she acquired doing what she loved. Many of those trips she shared with family and friends. Her pride and ambition as a hair artist was evident in her flare for style, zest for life, and respect from clients and peers all over the world. Orishia's life was further fulfilled when she met and married Ken Federko on June 12, 1998. She gained in-laws in a supportive close-knit family who welcomed her with open arms. Her life became complete with the birth of her sons Nikolas (March '99) and Josif (September '01). Predeceased on her side by Gedo Wasyl Fedoriuk (1982), Gedo Alex Dublanica (1991), Uncle Andrew Fedoriuk (1994), and Baba Mary Fedoriuk (2001); on Ken's side by Uncle Paul Raina (1998), Uncle Joseph Raina (1998), Uncle Eugene Raina (1999), Aunt Emily Oleksiuk (1999), and Aunt Olga Koropatwa (2003).
