Pam O'Neal Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 11, 2024.
Pam O'Neal, aged 77, passed away on May 9, 2024, surrounded by her loving family in her native city of Fort Worth, TX. Born on August 20, 1946, she was the cherished daughter of the late William H. O'Neal and Frances Threatt McElroy. Her brother, Paul O'Neal, also predeceased her.

Known for her infectious laugh and spirited disposition, Pam's presence was a joy to all who knew her. Her fondness for antiquing was well-known, and she took great pleasure in adding to her collection of treasures. A fan of cinema, home restoration shows, and the melodies of country music, Pam's interests were as rich and varied as her character.

Pam was a proud alumna of Paschal High School and later attended Texas Tech University. The friendships she forged during those years remained a source of great joy throughout her life.

Professionally, Pam was dedicated and diligent, contributing 23 years of service as Office Manager at Marvin Electronics. Her career also spanned roles in vocational education, Barrow Electric, and the field of accounting.

Pam's memory will be cherished by her beloved daughter, Stephanie McCown and son-in-law Scott; her son, Tim Carter; her granddaughter, Lauren Carter; her nephew, Thomas O'Neal; her niece, Megan O'Neal and grandniece, Kinsley; as well as her 'bonus daughter,' Kristi Apple. Her loss will also be felt by numerous cousins, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to be considered part of her extended family.

In keeping with her wishes, no formal funeral services will be held.

Pam's life was a tapestry of warmth, laughter, and love. She will be profoundly missed and eternally remembered by those who were blessed to know her.

I have known my cousin Pam all of my life. I remember her tremendous laughter and wry at times sense of humor.
When I was a teenager, I thought she was gorgeous and very intelligent. In our later years, we ran into each other infrequently, but it was always good to see her. I will miss her.
