Pamela Stone Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 15, 2025.
Pamela Kay Stone, of Dunedin, FL, passed away suddenly on July 16, 2025, while on vacation in Sicily. She was 70 years old.

Pam was born July 18, 1954, in St. Louis, MO. She graduated from Berkeley High School in 1972, and attended Culver-Stockton College, where she graduated in 1976 with a degree in Psychology and English. While at college, she joined the Chi Omega sorority and sang in the choir.

Pam spent most of her career working with mentally and physically handicapped adults, first in Quincy, IL, and then in the Chicago area, finally as the site director of the West Town sheltered workshop.

Her life changed when she met the love of her life Anthony Cicerchia, and they decided to leave snowy and windy Chicago, when they purchased the Palm Court Motel in Dunedin, FL.

While in Dunedin, Pam developed a passion for painting, taking classes at the Dunedin Arts Center. Many of her paintings hang in the rooms of the Palm Court Motel or in the homes of her family and friends.

Pam also loved to travel. Her favorite places were museums of art and antiquity in Italy, Greece and Mexico.

Pam leaves behind Anthony, their two tuxedo cats KitKat and Snickers, her parents Arnold and Jean Stone of Lee's Summit, MO, and her sister Susan Newburger and her partner Paul Stipe, of Parkville, MO.

She will be missed by family and friends, and the loyal guests at Palm Court Motel. She was a shining light in their lives.

Services will be held in Florida and Missouri.
