Pamla Floyd Obituary
Pam was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her husband Terry Floyd, her brother Ronnie Cornwell, her sister in law Debbie Cornwell her children Keith Peay, Kristi Peay, her step children Ashley Floyd, Chris Floyd, and Tyler Floyd, as well as her grandchildren Kaleb Peay, Mahalia Pollard, and Jeremiah Floyd. Pam was preceded in death by her father Joe David Cornwell, her mother Mary Ruth Allen Cornwell, her grandmothers Pearl E Withers and Maggie Lou Lunn Allen, and her grandson Kaden Floyd.
Pam had a fulfilling career at Opry Land and Krogers. She was known for her compassion, tenderness, and the uplifting tone of her voice that inspired others to be better. Pam had a passion for helping people, leading Bible study groups, volunteering in women's groups, and making wreaths and decorations. Her High School days at Central High School in Nashville were cherished, and she remained an active member of the Central High alumni community.
Pam worshipped at First Baptist Church Mount Juliet TN and Garrison Fork Baptist Church in Beech Grove. She found solace and strength in her faith. Her love for her Lord Jesus Christ and the power of prayer.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Woodbine Funeral Home Inc, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Rd,Nashville, TN 37211 . Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, June 20th, from 2:00 to 8:00, and on Friday, June 21st, from 9:00 to 12:00. The funeral service will commence at 12:00, followed by a short gravesite service at 2:15 at the Alford Family Cemetery behind Mt. Ararat Baptist Church in Hoodoo, TN. 57 Paul Herrell Rd, Beech Grove, TN

Pam's legacy of kindness, faith, and love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.

Gonna miss picking on Pam and sharing many laughs.Pam loved to pick back at people that picked on her.There was always a good laugh to be had when Pam was around.Excellent cook.Enjoyed a couple of meals with Terry and Pam.Enjoyed having Pam as a friend and she was a great friend to many.To say she will be missed would be an understatement.Last time i saw Pam,she had her hat on and making the grass fly from the mower.If there is grass in Heaven,no worries,Pam will be doing what she enjoyed doing.Your job on Earth is done.Now go enjoy what you worked hard for. RIP My Friend!
