Patrice Garity Obituary

Patrice Ann Garity, 75, of Tucson, AZ, passed away at home on March 3, 2025.

She was born in Milwaukee, WI on June 8, 1949 to George and Eleanor (Misun) Garity. The young family moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada for a short time and then on to Lexington, KY where Patrice graduated from Tates Creek High School and the University of Kentucky.

After college, Patrice moved back to Milwaukee, WI and began her career at WTMJ (AM radio 620 and TV channel 4). In 1978, she moved to San Diego, CA where she held executive positions with Avis and Cox Communications. During this time, she received her MBA from National University and became a licensed California real estate agent.

In 2007, she moved to Tucson, AZ where she enjoyed desert life with her many friends.

Patrice is survived by her family and friends and will be interred with her parents at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.

Patrice's charming nature and quick wit will be missed by all who knew her.

Happy birthday my dear friend, Patrice. It still seems unreal that you have passed. I miss you much and will always miss our monthly sessions, visits, and conversations. These memories are in my heart forever, and I can't wait to see you in heaven.

So sorry to hear of Patrice's passing. Since we both lived in Tucson and graduated in the same class from Tates Creek High School we kept in touch a few times each year. She was a great story teller, was never at a loss for words, had a great sense of humor and was a very smart woman. She will be missed.
