Patricia Bentz, fondly known as Patsy, Granny Grump, and Bingo, passed away on July 31, 2024, in Port Orange, Florida, at the age of 79. Born Patricia Goodwin on November 14, 1944, in Moultrie, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Otto Goodwin and Gladys Pauline Hunt. No formal service will be at this time but a celebration of life is planned at a later date.

She is survived by her loving and caring husband, Don Bentz. Children/spouses: Janet/Mike Tillman, Jill/Bill Willingham, Allison/Jeff Boutwell and Ben/Heather Edwards, Darin Bentz, Alan/Jennifer Bentz. Her grandchildren: Kimberly Edwards, Hunter Spradley, Miranda/Justin Shivers, Jessica/Brad Padgett, Chris/Alexis Boutwell, Wendy Boutwell, Mackenzee Edwards, Miranda Edwards and Alana Bentz. Great grandchildren Colton Spradley, Olivia Spradley, Josie Shivers, Amelia Padgett, Avery Padgett, Gavin Padgett, Caroline Boutwell, Lainey Boutwell, and Rylee Boutwell.

Patsy is remembered for her spirited personality and her love for bingo nights, which earned her one of her cherished nicknames. She was known for her sharp wit and endearing stubbornness, traits that lovingly earned her the nickname Granny Grump.

Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by those who loved her.
