Patricia Bevacqua

Patricia Bevacqua, age 79, of Delray Beach, FL died on Monday, October 21, 2024. Patricia was born October 26, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY. She was the beloved daughter of Virginia and Joseph Hannon.

Patricia has joined her adoring husband, Frank Bevacqua, whom she lost in 2006. Patricia leaves behind her loving children, Deborah Mawad (Robert), Anthony Cassandra (Ann Marie) and Kim Cassandra (Laurence Christopher). Patricia was a doting nana to her cherished grandchildren Marie Cassandra, Alexander Charif, Jessica Mawad, Sabrine Charif and Brianna Mawad and her precious great granddaughter Lilyana Martinez. She is survived by her dear brother and sisters, Thomas Hannon (Carol), Dianne Kinkaid (James) and Janice Grover and cherished nieces, nephews and cousins.

Patricia began her career at Doubleday Book Company in Garden City, New York, where her love for books and literature flourished. She then dedicated over 20 years to the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), where she rose to the position of Vice President of Human Resources, while guiding and mentoring many. While working full time, she pursued a degree from Fordham University of which she is a proud graduate. In the final chapter of her career, she served the people of New York through her work with the Sullivan County Center for Workforce Development. Her professional achievements were a testament to her dedication, intelligence, and compassion.

Patricia doted on her family and we will forever cherish the memories we have all made with her. She will be deeply missed. May God bless her and surround her with peace, love, and joy.

There will be a Ceremony of Inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 Route 112, Coram, NY on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Patricia's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to her heart.
