My thoughts and prayers are with the Deliere and Flaherty families. I was sorry to hear of Patty's illness and passing. Patty's strenghth and courage are an inpiration to everyone she touched through the years. I have many memories of the good times we shared in grade and high school.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all members of the Deliere and Flaherty families on the loss of Patty. Patty and I were school friends at Holy Innocents through grade school, High School, and our senior year at Elizabeth Seton.

Patty called me in 1999 to see if I was planning on going to our Holy Innocents class reunion and said she would like to go. We made plans and got together with as many of our school friends as possible to go to the event. I will never forget that evening, although we had not been together in years it was as if no time had passed at all as we enjoyed giggling, laughing and sharing our stories where our lives had taken us. It was so like Patty to make everyone feel so comfortable, she was always so easy to talk with, fun to be with and truly a joy to be around. A light has gone out in our little group of school girlfriends where she will be dearly missed. May the peace that comes from sharing memories comfort you today and in the days ahead.

A mass for Patty has been requested by all her school girlfriends and will be said at Holy Innocents Church on Saturday, May 22, 2004 at 8:15 am.

My deepest sympathies go out to both the Deliere and Flaherty familes, especially Tanny and the boys. To lose such a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend is heartbreaking. We were friends all through grade school and high school, and my life was enriched by knowing Patty. Her wonderful sense of humor, quick smile and sunny disposition made her a joy to know. If there is any consolation for her family, I hope it is not only knowing that she is at peace, but that she will always be with you, and you will be together again. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Patty's passing. Although I had not seen her in many years, she and the gang from Sheriden were often in my thoughts. From HI to Seton we shared many wonderful times together. My prayers are with her family at this difficult time.

Words can not begin to express the loss I feel. Patty was not only my big sister but my best friend. We have shared 46 years together. I am glad she is finally at peace and with loved ones, but a part of me has died also. I will miss her each and every day, but will hold close the memories Patty and I shared. Patty, I will love you always. You sister, Judy

I want to convey my deepest sympathy to Tanny, TJ, Kyle and the Flaherty family. Growing up with Patty since childhood, I know the impact she had on the lives she touched. The best way to describe Patty, she was truly a good person, kind, gentle, funny and humble. I have the happiest memories of our friendship from little girls to married women. Even though our busy lives kept us from seeing each other, the special bond we shared will be with me forever. To my dear friend, I’ll love you always. God bless you.

Patty was one of the best and kindest people I have ever know. I knew her from Sheraden and we lost touch many years ago. Her death is a tremendous loss to her family but heaven has gained a beautiful angel to look after them from above.
