Patricia Ellis

Patricia Ellis 1936 - 2011 WEST SPRINGFIELD - Patricia (Dennis) Ellis, 75, passed away Tuesday at Baystate Medical Center. She was pre-deceased by her father Stuart Dennis and mother and step-father Hazel (Risley) and Norman Bartels. Patricia was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School and later she attended the Baystate Nursing program. She supported her husband in the family's business, Sol's Tire in W. Springfield. Patricia loved spending the last 20 winters in Florida. Patricia leaves her beloved husband of 55 years, William R. Ellis, her loving sons, William Ellis and his wife Donna of Westfield and Jeffrey P. Ellis of Springfield; her adored grandchildren Erika or as she referred to her "Missy" and Derek Ellis or as she called him "her handsome man" and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her many close friends in Florida, Phyllis, Shelly, Gloria. She will also be missed by her many dear local friends, especially Pat, Sally and Jane. There will be a Funeral Home Service Friday at 11:00 AM at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street. The burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Thursday from 3:30PM-5:30PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923. The family would like to thank the D'Amours Cancer Center for the wonderful care they gave Patricia, especially Tricia, Gina and Lori.
