Patricia Ann Baum Fisch, 86, of Blanchard, Oklahoma departed this world and went home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, where she will join her dearly beloved family members who have passed on before her. She was born on December 30, 1935, in Wichita, Kansas to Manford Raymond Baum and Lenora Margret Fisher Baum.
Patricia graduated on May 21, 1953, from Douglass High School in Douglass, Kansas where she played center position on the basketball team. She also did the artwork for their prom program.
On November 10, 1953, she married the love of her life, Theodore John Fisch. They were married for 34 years, until his passing on April 22, 1988. Together they had six children, Lenora Margret, Kathryn Elizabeth, Theodore Wayne, Rachel Ann, Mark Alan and Brenda Marie. She and her family lived in Douglass, Wichita and Hayesville, Kansas and a brief time in Kansas City, Kansas. While living in Hayesville Patricia worked at the local grocery store. In 1967 they moved to Yukon, Oklahoma where she worked for a while at Whitaker’s Grocery store. In 1983 when they relocated to Blanchard, Oklahoma where she spent the remaining part of her life.
Patricia loved God and her family. She and her husband, Ted made sure their six children were raised in church and knew God and their Savior, Jesus Christ. She and her family attended and helped build the congregation at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Yukon, Oklahoma. “Pat” or Patti”, was involved with the church and served different positions in the Ladies Auxiliary, taught Sunday School as well as taking turns in the nursery during church services. She also was quite the handyman. She pieced together scraps of carpet on the nursery floor, painted the church sign along with various other miscellaneous tasks.
In the spring of 1994, while having a yard sale, she met Charles “Heavy” Henderson. They were later married on February 19, 1995, and were together until he passed on January 17, 2007. Together they enjoyed attending flea markets and would often sleep in the bed of his pickup during weekend trips to the markets.
Throughout Patricia’s life she enjoyed oil painting, canning, sewing, and crocheting. But, most of all she loved spending time with her family and playing cards and doing jigsaw puzzles. Patricia was known by several names, Patricia, Patti, Pat, but her favorite name was Momma.
To cherish Patricia’s memory, she leaves behind her loving children, Lennie and husband, Jimmy Pace of Hammond, Louisiana, Kathy and husband, Jeff Suiter of Midland, Texas, Wayne Fisch of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Rachel Ridge of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Mark Fisch of Blanchard, Oklahoma and Brenda Hedrick of Blanchard, Oklahoma, nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great, great grandson, her two brothers, Byron Baum of Leon, Kansas and Albert Baum of Cedar Vale, Kansas and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jimmy Pace, Jonathan Suiter, Michael Fisch, Josh Fisch, Nathan Fisch and Brandon Hedrick. Heavenly pallbearers are Brett Brown and Christopher Suiter. Pastor Blythe Wilson will be officiating the Funeral Service.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 19, 2022, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard, Oklahoma.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Dibble Cemetery, Dibble, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard, Oklahoma. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.

I knew her as Pat, but mostly as Wayne’s mother. I was blessed to spend several occasions with her and always hated to leave her company. She was so very dear and the sweetest lady. She was always there for family, I know her loss will be tremendous. My prayers are with her beautiful family.
