Patricia Gallagher Obituary
Born on December 1, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Irene (Rolak) Badura. Patricia spent her younger years in Ellwood City, PA and graduated from Ellwood City High School. She then attended Marygrove College, in Detroit MI studying Fine Arts, and went on to manage her husband's cardiology practice.
Patricia met the love of her life, Seamus Patrick Gallagher, and the two shared many wonderful years together before his passing on February 15, 2006. A lifelong lover of books and crossword puzzles, Patricia also found great joy in the kitchen, where she shared her love through home cooked meals.
Patricia has four grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Affectionately known as "Busha", Patricia's greatest joy was grandmother, and she took immense pride in her close bond with each of them.
Patricia is survived by her son Jeff (Kristen) Skutnick, daughter Daphne (Paul) Betley, and stepson Barry (the late Sangeeta) Gallagher and grandchildren Kelsey Skutnick, Erik (Natalie) Skutnick, Grace and Jack Betley.
Also surviving are her siblings, Judith (Bill) Burdett of Deer Lakes, PA, John (Lori) Badura, of Butler, PA , and Jerry (Vicki) Badura, of Albuquerque, New Mexico. As well as many nieces, nephews, grand
nieces, grand nephews, and one great-great grand niece. She is preceded in death by Leon Badura II, David Badura, and Susanne Thompson.
Patricia's legacy lives on in the love she gave, the family she cherished, and the quiet grace that touched everyone who knew her.

On Wednesday, July 30th, there will be a visitation from 10 -11:00am with a funeral mass immediately following at St. Mary Magdalen 2201 S Old US Hwy 23 Brighton, MI 48114.

Pat was the link to sharing our family history on the Badura side. We loved to share notes about what we discovered since the last connection, memories of the family visits in the early days, recipes, etc. I will really miss our times together, even though we were many miles apart. Pat would call whenever there was a California fire, earthquake, etc just to make sure we were ok. I am so glad I was able to stay connected until her final days. Glad she was part of my extended family.

Every once in a while you meet someone who makes life better, even if you don´t realize it at the time. Pat (Busha) is one of those people for our family. From a wave, as she drives by, to a conversation on the driveway, to a surprise visit from Delainey where Busha had a chat and sent her home before we even knew she was gone. She has been a constant in our life for many years now, and she will continue to make us smile whenever she comes to mind. Thank you Daphne, Paul, Grace, and Jack for sharing your Mom/Busha with our family. We love all of you and heaven has gained, yet another, beautiful soul!

Pat was always was a joy to visit with at her home with the Betleys!! Always welcoming and joyful conversations.Wine glass always waiting for me and would say"are you ready for some white wine Gail?" Our visits will not be the same and gone to soon ,but her memory will always live on! Our deep felt condolences to her family

Pat was a good cousin and a nice person. Many miles always separated us but we enjoyed the times we were able to be together, including the most recent in northern Michigan. We miss her and wish comfort for her family and friends.
