Sheboygan - Patricia "Patty" Yvonne Harris (November 28, 1955 - October 18, 2025), of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, passed away on October 18, 2025. Born November 28, 1955, to Henry Harris and Patricia A. (McDermott) Harris, Patty grew up with a heart full of kindness and a love for music.

A graduate of Cedar Grove High School, Patty worked in various roles, but her greatest joy was being a devoted mother. In 1989, she met Thomas Gessler, and together they shared 36 wonderful years filled with laughter, adventure, and cheering for the Packers.

Patty loved music-especially Michael Jackson-camping, and stock car racing. She was deeply involved in the color guard community, serving as a proud "Guard Mom" for J.R. Brass and Evolution Color Guard, where she held leadership roles and embraced every member as family.

She is survived by her children Patrick Harris, Daniel (Chris) Carr, Rebecca Gessler, and her loving bonus daughter and caregiver Hayley DoBas; her granddaughter Lydia Harris and bonus grandson Layne Taylor; and her brother Mike (Tammy) Harris. She was preceded in death by her parents and oldest sibling, Jon.

A Celebration of Life will be announced in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Sheboygan County.

I was saddened to hear of her passing. She was in our class at all the way through school and grew up just up the street from where we lived. I only saw her once since high school, and that was many years ago, but she always had a smile and a laugh. I remember we used to joke with each other in Spanish class, she called me Pablo, and I called her Patio. My sincere condolences to her family. Paul
