Patricia Lynn "Pat" Hooper (née Bennett)

March 18, 1951 - August 18, 2025

Patricia Lynn "Pat" Hooper, age 74, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025.

Born on March 18, 1951, in Beckley, West Virginia, Pat was the beloved daughter of Stelmon and Christine Bennett. She was a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee, where she met her husband Thomas Hooper, made lifelong friends, and formed a cherished bond with her dear friend Melanie Staten. Tennessee continued to be her home, where she raised her family and built a life filled with love and generosity.

Pat shared 47 wonderful years of marriage with her late husband, Thomas Hooper. Together they created a home that was warm, welcoming, and full of joy. She is survived by her devoted daughter Maggie Brown and son-in-law Dwight Brown, and she was a proud grandmother to Christine Brown, who brought her immeasurable pride and happiness. Pat is also lovingly remembered by her brothers George Bennett and Greg Bennett (Margy), as well as the many nephews and nieces who brought her joy.

She will be remembered most for her boundless compassion, generous spirit, and the way she made everyone feel like family. Pat's heart and kindness left an indelible mark on all who were blessed to know her. A lifelong lover of dogs, she found comfort and joy in their companionship, especially her beloved Evie.

Pat's memory will live on through the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the family she cherished.
