Patricia A. (Coughlin) LaBrecque, 73, of Abington passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014. The daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Mabey) Coughlin, she was born in Boston, Dec. 21, 1940. Patricia had been employed as a maternity nurse at South Shore Hospital for 40 years. She was a supporter of the Holy Family Defenders Drum Corp. She was active at Holy Family Church in Rockland, where she served as a eucharistic minister and she was very devoted to her family. Loving wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband, David LaBrecque; 4 children, Paul of Germany, Robert of Abington, Susan Feeney of Miss., and Joseph of Yarmouth; and 2 grandchildren, Caroline Feeney of Miss., and Christian LaBrecque of Mich. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 45 East Water St., in Rockland, Friday from 4-7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 9 a.m. in Holy Ghost Parish, 518 Washington St., Whitman.
