PATRICIA MARUZEWSKI-PLACHECKI Obituary
Age 67, of Bethel Park, passed away suddenly, October 3, 2013. Daughter of Edward and Agnes (Maruzewski) Plachecki, of Scott Township; sister of Edward J. Plachecki, Sr.; loving aunt of Edward J. Plachecki, Jr. (Sarah); great-aunt of Ella Ann Plachecki and Godmother of Debbie Thomas. Patty was a retired school teacher of Chartiers Valley School District of over 30 years. Patty's love of life and teaching children was only surpassed by her kindness and generosity to all those who knew her. Patty was a graduate of Clarion University and the University of Pittsburgh. Patty was an avid traveler, who enjoyed adventures with many of her friends. The impact that Patty has had on others cannot be described in words on paper, but only felt in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday from 2-7 p.m. at the WARCHOL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). To the Plachecki Family,
Had Miss Plachecki in 3rd grade at Rennerdale. She was a wonderful teacher. I remember helping her set up her class room during the summer for that year and many years after. She was a great lady.

I was blessed teaching with Patty at Dewey School many years ago! We had the best times together! My husband remembers her riding her motorcycle! She was a loving, caring and nurturing teacher as well as friend. Our prayers and sympathy to your entire family on your loss of such a vibrant, " one of a kind" woman!

Patty was a terrific co-worker as a fifth grade teacher with me. We worked together planning independent learning techniques. She was extremely creative with a huge sense of humor. I loved being in her company.

Pat was a wonderful next door neighbor to my parents and most recently, my husband and me. She had such a warm heart and was always so loving and caring. She was taken from our world way too soon. Rest in Peace with the Lord Pat. YOU WILL BE MISSED!
