Patricia Travis Obituary
Born April 21, 1940, Patricia was cherished by her immediate and extended family for her ability to inspire and facilitate family gatherings, and for her unconditional love, giving, sympathy, and wise counsel. Her businesslike but caring nature brought thoughtful professionalism and humanity to research institutions, law firms, multinationals and hometown commissions. Her passions outside of work were grounded in family, friends, and nature, always leaving her surroundings better than she found them.
Patricia was raised by June Woodhouse Selsor and Mark Allen Selsor, predominantly in Berkeley, California. She graduated with the Class of 1962 as a University of California Golden Bear. Patricia is survived by her son, John Allen Travis, of Florida, her second son, Mark Hamilton Uebel, also of Florida, and her brother, Thomas Allen Selsor, of Wisconsin. She is predeceased by her sister Lorraine Florence Selsor Petzy, of New Hampshire.
