Patricia Villanueva Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 1, 2025.
Patricia Villanueva (née Blair), age 74, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025. Born September 22, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, she spent her life in Northeast Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dominic Bruno and Alvin Villanueva, and her daughter Diane Bruno.

Pat is survived by her children Denielle Bruno, Charles Walkey (Amanda), and Sean Walkey (Edie). She was a beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

She is also survived by her siblings Shirley, Sandy Bellitto (Paul), Kathy Muniz (Mike), Donna Cernan (Gary), and Janet Stefancic (Steve). She was preceded in death by her siblings Karen, Michael, and Richard (Nancy).

Pat had a deep love for gardening and took pride in keeping her yard beautiful. She made sure not a single dandelion ever stood a chance.

One of her favorite traditions was watching horror movies with her grandchildren. What could have been frightening became a time filled with laughter and connection. Thanks to Pat, the grandchildren developed a love for spooky movies and now remember those moments with warmth and smiles.

Pat's love and strength touched many lives. Her legacy lives on in her family.

A Tribute to My Mother

Mom, I can´t put into words what you meant to me. I can´t put into words how much I will miss you. I can´t put into words the empty feeling I have inside without you. I can´t put into words how hard it is when I go to call you and remember you´re not there anymore. Mondays hurt more than ever now because I know we won´t be going to Savers together.

You always had my back. Whenever I needed you, you were there. You made sure I felt loved. You made sure Lexie, Ayla, Addison, and Miles felt loved too. They only got a short time with you, but what you gave them will stay with them forever.

I´ll always hold on to our time together. Whether it was making Chicken Paprikash or working in the yard to make sure we didn´t have a single dandelion, those moments meant everything to me.

My heart is at a loss without you. I hope I made you proud. You deserved to be treated with dignity and respect and I did everything I could to make sure your wishes were honored. These last six months were hard, but they were a blessing too. I got to be with you every step of the way.

You were stubborn sometimes and stuck in your ways, but that´s what made you you. That´s what made you my mom.

I love you. I miss you. I´ll carry you with me every minute, every hour, every day of my life.
