As cousins, Pat and I were very close growing up. I have many fond memories of our times together. Distance between us later had to do with miles and not lack of affection. She called me days before her passing to lend consolation to the death of my husband. We spoke openly and she told me she would not be here on earth very much longer and that she was at peace with that. Her peace gave me peace with her passing. She was sure, as am I, that she was destined for a more loving place. Can't ask for more than that.

Patricia and I were great friends at Vestaburg School and for years after school. I happened to talk with Pat in August 2022 when I was working on. The school reunion. We talked for over 2 hours like our friendship had never ended. Pat was such a great person and friend. She will be missed. Loving friend. Bonnie (Tubbs) Lehmkuhle
