Hi Grandpa,

I guess I was too young to post on here when you left us or to even fully understand why you were gone.

I really really miss you. Especially as I get older, every decision I make about my life and career, I think of the advice you would give me or if you'd be proud. I try and maintain an adventurous spirit and be fearless as much as I can.

Your influence on all of us continues to unfold as I can now share Rolling Rocks with everyone who had the honor of sipping one by your side. I came on here to look for memories people shared about you to get a sense of how I can create dialogue for you in the book I'm writing right now about our family. I hope I do you justice.

But just so you know, from what I had already written about your motorcycle, blonde hair, and leather jacket, everyone in my class who read it absolutely adores you. Who wouldn't love the tickle monster?

I wish I could talk to you and Rachele. It was hard coming across her post on here and knowing she's gone too. At least you're both together! I hope you're drunk and happy and Rachele's teeth are purple.

I love you and miss you!!!

As we all feel you left us too soon. Please continue to guide your beautiful family here from above. Christine is still having a hard time dealing with your passing, but with the beautiful memories of your fun character, she moves foward for the kids and knows that you would want her doing that. It is really hard seeing her missing you, that goes for all of us that miss your presence. I really hiss you Pat and I hoped that you could be here to see Antonio play his second season of football. He is doing very well! Anna has made the All American cheer squad. I know there is no doubt that you would be so proud of her. They both miss you so much. My Best Friend Patrick,

My first encounter with you... I just moved in across the street from your place in Stockton. I was pulling the garbage can out to the street and you were in your drive way. I asked if they had picked up the trash yet and you said with a grin "your still there." From that point on I knew we were going to be friends. You loved life. You loved to live it to the fullest. I'm so blessed to have shared so many incredible times with you. I love you so much! I am thankful we shared some time up at the lake together a week before you passed and for the last "I love yous" on the phone the night before your last day. As I struggle to go on with out you I know that it has to happen. I will still go to Ireland and experience our dream vacation. I miss you like crazy. I miss the gas to my fire. Thanks for your endless love. Your love for Chris, Mano and your beautiful grandkids lives on.

Dear Pat,

It will be one month that you have left us. It seems so unreal to believe that such a tragedy like this would happen to you. You loved life and kept yourself so healthy and fit. It does'nt seem fair! As I think of the future without you, I find it really hard to think of all the events in which you will not be around for. Your grandson Antonio has started his football season last Saturday. I know you were excited for him. He will dedicate this season to you. Your grandaughter Anna really misses you and can't understand why you had to leave us so early. Christine, has been dealing with your loss in a hard way. First her mother, now her father. I will do my best to comfort her and our children, It will be hard, because I too, have a terrible ache in my heart for you. I will miss the days you would ride to our house for the weekend and enjoy playing with the kids a drinking a good merlot along with a cigar. You would always give me hell for not opening the good stuff! I will miss those words and especially your company. Even though you were my father in law, I saw you as my father and friend. I love you and will miss you dearly. It is hard going and picking up Antonio at practice, knowing that you will not be around for his games, but we all know you will be there in our hearts and in spirit. Watch over all of us! Tell my dad up in heaven that I miss him and how beautiful his daughter in law and grandchildren are. It will take some time before our hearts heal over this, but with all the love from friends and family and your precious memories, we will make it through!

I miss you Pat! Save me a seat up there and don't hog the remote!!

P Daddy,

It's very strange to be sitting here writing this as you have left us too soon!! You lived life to the fullest!! I always said 50 going on 20. I am truly honored to have you as my friend and former co worker. I will miss the great times we had working on the blitzes as well as the PAG bombs we enjoyed. Thanks for allowing me into your world and sharing the good times we had. May you rest in peace forever.

Your PAG Brother,

Mike
