RIP Mr Logan. I just watched you on cops and figured I'd look you up. You seemed like a genuine nice and funny guy.

Pat Logan was my grandma I love and miss him very much, him was a wonderful man and always made me smile

Pat was truly a servant of the community and a big guy with a lot of loyalty that anyone could lean on in a time of need. I'll never forget his service to our great nation.

Mr. Logan was a great man who protected the people he loved and shown complete devotion to his time in the force. I respect him as a big guy, who always planned on the criminals in being caught.

He was a courageous officer and a real human bean.

Hey dad it's been almost a year since you left us. So much has changed. All I have is the memory of you. I have been thinking of you a lot lately. Wishing you were somehow here again so you could meet your grand daughter. She is my little princess and I love her dearly. She is a gift from heaven. The smiles she gives me make me happy. She is my baby girl and im her pop. Like you were mine.

hey dad its been a lil over a month and im starting to heal but not one day goes by that I dont think of you a miss hearing you call me baby boy. You were my hero my teacher my friend. You were their to pick me up when I fell and cheer me up when I was sad. Today Nicole lost her mother and a month ago I lost you and in your passing you gave me the strenth to be strong for her. I love you dad I miss you everyday and am still learning so much from what gift you gave me. The gift of life and love.

It's been pretty hard. I really was hoping to make it down to FL but I just couldn't. I know you understand.
I just wanted to take this moment to thank you for helping to make me who I am. You taught me acceptance, love of all creatures (I still remember you bringing that snowy owl home when you were on the force, or bringing home that little black kitten I called Panther - or even still - sneaking into the cemetery with me to bury my bunny when I was 12, which I know wasn't legal, but meant the world to me). You took me to pride fest as a young girl, which taught me that we're all people and all the same. Having a policeman as a father taught me to be fair and just - and that idea of fairness often rules my life. Having an actor as a father gave me passion for entertainment and helped to mold me into the upcoming performer I am.
Things I got from you: love of nature. passion for photography, acting, stage-work, horror and passion for zombies. interests in photography (I saw some of the 35mm pics you took of Shawn and Jeff when they were young). my eye color. my fiery temper. ambition. writing and poetry skills. kindness. compassion.
You made me who I am. My tattoos of you, your badge, gun, and the Logan family crest have a whole new meaning now. I wear them with pride.
Working at the humane society keeps me very busy due to the negligence of humans - but I am going to take it a step further daddy, I am going to try to work up to being an animal cop. I want to do that for you - my way of following in your footsteps. I want to make you proud.

Pat was truly a remarkable man and I will always remember the fun times my children and I had when we went to Pittsburgh for a visit. My deepest condolences to the Logan family.

You were my true definition of a real hero. I always looked up to you, but as the years went by, I started to look down on you because you eventually ended up in a wheelchair. On that one night when your heart stopped beating for half an hour, I was just pouring the tears out. Then you came back. Not many people do that, when they flat line and then come back. You kept fighting and you didn't let God take your beautiful, warm, gentle soul. When I heard the terrible news a couple of days ago where Mom told me you were gone, I collapsed on the floor trying to think that this was just a terrible nightmare. Instead, it wasn't. It was the real thing. Now your soul rests in the hand of God and you're looking down on us. I love you Grandpa. <3
