Patrick Meehan Sr. Obituary
Patrick was a devoted father to his two children, Kelly Meehan and Patrick Meehan Jr. He cherished the time spent with them and their families, always offering support and guidance. Kelly, along with her spouse Cory Holsomback, and Patrick Jr., with his spouse Valerie Meehan, were a source of immense pride and joy for him.
As a grandfather, Patrick found great delight in his grandchildren, Gavin Holsomback and Charlotte Holsomback. He was known for his warm smile and funny nature, which endeared him to all who knew him. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he took great pleasure in watching them grow and thrive.
A true lover of the outdoors, Patrick found solace and happiness by the water, where he spent many cherished hours fishing. His love for dogs was evident in the special bond he shared with Kelly's dog, Harley, and Patrick's dog, Sanibel. These loyal companions provided him with comfort and strength during his battle with cancer.
Patrick's legacy is one of kindness, humor, and an unwavering love for his family. His spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him, reminding us all to cherish the simple joys in life and to find happiness in the company of loved ones.
Funeral Services will be held on January 10, 2025 at 1pm at Saint Edwards Catholic Church, 2700 Dolfield Dr, North Chesterfield, VA 23235; reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Virginia Home for Boys and Girls or Benedictine Schools of Richmond.

My sincere condolences to the Meehan family. Patrick was a good person with a witty sense of humor to match.
He was also a skilled fisherman and I enjoyed the many fishing trips we had over the years with positive results.
I´m very fortunate to have had Pat as a friend.
