For 20 years we lived next to Judge and Mrs. Familia. I will very much Miss the daily conversations that I had with this very honorable man. As the son of a former flag officer in the Air Force I could relate to many of the narratives in his life and that of his children. God bless his family and we will miss him very much.

Please accept our deepest condolences. The Judge was a great man, father and public servant. A dear family friend of my late parents and their friends. As our beloved President of ISDA, he brought our heritage to the forefront thru his presence. Even more as a public servant, the Judge never hesitated accepting invitations to visit my students iin the urban classrooms, our school group chat sessions, he was always settting an example - how important we must embrace our future, our youth.

Dear Mark and Kathleen, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Judge was such a gentleman. I remember when he visited the St. Jude Lodge of the ISDA. A true class act. It was an honor to meet him.
