Age 61, of Wilkinsburg, formerly of Titusville, passed peacefully at the home of Deborah Gouge on March 18, 2003. Beloved father of Peter and Robert Girts; grandfather of Jan Eric and Holgar, father-in-law of Monica, all of Darmstadt, Germany; brother of John and Joyce; nephew of Rev. Harry Girts of Erie; loving friend of Jeanne Baird, Deborah Gouge, Doug Gouge, Taylor Call and Jeff Shaw, Jackie Bach, Bob and Bobbie Gordon, Dick and Marilyn Platt, Ron and JoAnne Warner, Mariam Gruber and many others includinig his feline pal, Sanford. I was saddened to hear about Paul's death. My condolences to his family and close friends. I had not seen Paul for many years but I remember him fondly from our days at THS.

I am SO sorry to hear about the passing of Paul. I worked with him at The Traffic Mangement Center at Penndot.

Paul was a wonderful person and I will truly miss him.

We have lost our dear friend Paul and are thinking fondly of him today (March 23rd)his birthday.He was very special to us and our families over the years. We have many memories from Sunday School class to the present.

Thank you to his friends who were there to look after him and especially Jeannie and Deborah.

We would like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to his sons, Rob and Peter and their mother Gudrun.

Paul will be deeply missed.

I would like to convey my deepest sympathy to Paul's sons and family and to his very close friends who cared for him up until his passing. He was very special to me and my family and I am greatful for all the fond memories I have of the good times we shared together.
