I just found out today about his passing and started crying. He was one of the most compassionate doctors I've ever had and truly cared and wanted to help me. And I remember how much he was looking forward to being a used car salesman after he retired. He was a great man with a heart for helping people and a beautiful soul. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

My condolences and prayers for the family and friends. Thank you Dr Paul Grant for being there for me and helping me through some pretty hard times. Things I have told you that have never told any other doctor and you understood. You are so kind and caring and explained to me that everybody's body is different and everyone reacts different to certain procedures or medication. You helped me understand and accept things that I could not change. You helped me learn to accept my pain to live my life to the best of my ability . The heavens have been blessed with another angel. God bless your family your coworkers your friends. May your spirit always be around to fill their hearts.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I trained under Dr Grant at Harris Methodist in the late 90's and had the pleasure of working with him for many years after. He never stopped teaching!

For the most intelligent human being I had the privilege and pleasure to call mentor, colleague, and friend, rest in peace.
As a physician, Dr. Grant was a teacher of both Anesthesia and philosophy. He inspired students to look at all aspects of their education in life. A proponent of excellence in the details of this profession, he also encouraged students to scrutinize all situations with equanimity.
The art and science of Anesthesia and healthcare experienced a great loss when he retired from practice and teaching.
This Thursday, the world suffered the loss of an intelligent, compassionate soul, his friends the loss of a unique individual, his family, their beloved patriarch.
Thank you, Dr. Grant, for sharing your knowledge with me and other CRNA students.
Condolences to all who knew and loved him.
