Thinking of Paul and Virginia today. Such special folks and an incredible blessing to me during their time in Morehead!

Dr. Randolph was my professor and taught me how to be as he would say " A serious student of history." His kindness and mentorship got me through some very tough times and provided me with a wonderful education and respect for people and for research. He even performed my wedding and his passing is a loss, but he leaves an honorable legacy as a scholar and as a truly good man.

Virginia and family, I was sorry to hear of Paul's death and am keeping you in my prayers during this difficult time. Virginia, you were one of my first teachers at MoSU when I went back to earn my teaching certificate. I greatly appreciated your kindness to me during a somewhat difficult transition in my life. You served as a model for me when I began teaching preserving teachers. May God grant you peace.

Mrs. Randolph and family, Terry and I very much loved and appreciated Mr. Randolph. As a kind neighbor just down the street he would always say "hello" every time we saw him. It's for certain that he is at peace with his Lord now. Honestly, I kind of envy him right now! If there is anything Terry or I can do, please don't hesitate to ask. In Christian Love, April and Terry Hannah.

My wife, Patsy, and I are so sorry to learn of the passing of Paul. I first got to know him serving on the CASA Board soon after he returned to Murray. In the relative brief time he lived here after retirement he made a significant contribution to the community. In addition to being a wonderful role model for helping others, he was always a pleasure to be around. He was an inspiration to all those who knew him.

While we know this is a time of sadness, we also know there is much to celebrate regarding the life Cousin Paul Gene lived, the legacy he leaves behind, and most importantly, the eternal reward he is enjoying. Praise God for our Savior Jesus Christ and the hope He gives us all!

My thoughts are with all of you, as I also grieve with you. I will never forget the good times we all shared and the 2nd father Paul was to me on the trip to Europe. I hope your fond memories will help you through. Love to all.
