Paul Rogan, 89, formerly of Dresher, PA and Penn Lake, PA died on December 10th at Brittany Pointe in Lansdale. Paul was the son of the late Camillus and Othella Thomas Rogan. He was a graduate of St. Ann's High School, Freeland, and Penn State University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Bacteriology. Paul served in the Navy during World War II on the USS Wilkes-Barre.
Before retirement, he served as production Manager for William H. Rorer, a Pharmaceutical Company in Fort Washington PA for 30 years. Paul was an active member of St. Patrick’s Church, White Haven. He was a former councilman in the borough of Penn Lake and a former director on the Penn Lake Association. He served for a period of time on the draft board in Jenkintown during the Vietnam War.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, the former Jane Polanesky of Hazleton and his sister Camilla Harrington of Spring House Estates. Jane and Paul were blessed with 2 sons, 4 daughters, 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation at St. Patrick’s Church, White Haven on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at 8:30 am, a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am followed by interment in St. Ann's Cemetery, Freeland.
