Mr sager was my 5th grade teacher at Explorer. He was such a caring and kind man to all of his kids and especially to me. I was such a naive and shy kid, but really smart and gifted. Mr sager encouraged me to excell and was always happy to help. I just decided to Google his name and see if anything popped up, and saw this... I truly hope he got the life he deserved and knows how many little kids grew up to be good people with his help. I love and appreciate you Mr Sager!

I am so sorry for your loss. It is a great testament to his life as a teacher that so many of his students, myself included, have such fond memories of him. Mr. Sager, with that orange jacket, little orange truck and ready smile! He was truly a kind and caring person. You have much to be proud of.

I was sorry to hear of Mr. Sager's passing.
He was my 5th grade teacher his 1st year at Rosehill elementary.
I too still have the Christmas letter of how proud he was of my progress and talents. He also passed along his love of reading through the books he read to our class. I cherish the memories and friendships I made that year.
Mr. Sager was one of a kind and we were lucky to have a great teacher like him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

I was extremely lucky to have had Paul Sager as a fifth grade student. I had him the first year Explorer opened. It was a crazy year due to the fact that the district decided to give "open school concept" a try. There were no walls between the classes and you could see a lot of things going on in other classrooms. Mr. Sager seemed to always keep a pretty cool head. There were a number of teachers that struggled. The Christmas Letter was something you never heard of a teacher taking the time to do. I talked to Paul about 8 years ago about that year and it was uncanny with what he could remember. Any student that had Mr. Sager was very lucky to have had such a caring teacher. I will always remember him as very caring and patient man. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

Expressing my condolences to the Sager Family....I worked with Mr. Sager at the library at Olivia Park back in the mid 90's. He taught me a lot and was incredible with the kids. He was a wonderful person.

Dear Linda and Family,
We are sorry to hear of Paul's death. He is a kind and loving man. We even had the pleasure of him being our Fuller Brush man.
Know we are thinking of you at this sad time.

Dear Sager Family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Sager's passing. I was a student of his 28 years ago. This summer I celebrated my 20 year class reunion and I have to say that in reminiscing with fellow students, Mr. Sager's 5th grade class came up in topic. To this day I still have a Christmas letter he wrote me when I was in his 5th grade class at Explorer Elementary. At the time I remember thinking it was pretty cool to get a letter from your teacher. It turns out he had written letters to all his students. This wasn't just a short "have a great holiday" letter. He complimented me on things I was doing well in class and things that he wanted me to work on for the next year. He made it personal by mentioning my brother and sister. As an adult I always thought what a great teacher to spend that kind of time with each student. Just last week on my way home from visiting my mom in Mukilteo I passed by his house (or what used to be his house) on the boulevard and thought of him. Sager family, I just want you to know that Mr. Sager made a difference in my life and I'll always treasure my memories of him.
