McMUNN PAULINE LaRUE (ROACH)
Age 88, of Blawnox, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017. Born to the late Earl and Gladys (Thompson) Roach on August 28, 1928, in Houtzdale, PA. She was the beloved wife of the late John W. "Tip" McMunn, Jr.; loving mother of Dawn (Stephen) Eperthener, the late John W. McMunn III, and Alicia (Robert) Mangola; devoted grandmother of Corrie (Kyle) Rambaut, Victor Eperthener, Samantha McMunn, the late Andrew McMunn, and Charles (Moriah) McMunn; great-grandmother of Aubrey McMunn, Trinity McMunn, and Jayson Rambaut; "Lady Bug" sister of the late Ida (late John) Schwab, the late Sarah (William) Fromme, the late William (late Lucille) Roach, Russell (Elaine) Roach, Richard (Mary) Roach, Larry Roach, Kay (Kenneth) Neiswonger, Charles (Jan) Roach, Karen Roach, Judith (Richard) Kern, and Sandra (John) Bennison; daughter- in-law of the late John W., Sr. and Lugarda McMunn; and sister-in-law of Carolyn (Charles) Vogle and Alma (late Robert) McMunn. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Pauline was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling, and family parties. To her, family was everything. She lived for them and her presence will be greatly missed. Visitation on Monday, January 23, 2017, from 4-8 p.m. and on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, from 4-8 p.m. at THOMAS M. SMITH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, LTD., 930 Center Avenue, Blawnox, PA 15238, where family and friends will gather on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at 9:30 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass at St. Pio Parish, St. Edward Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Lakewood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Pio Parish for the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 450 Walnut Street, Blawnox, PA 15238.
