On Sunday, October 10, 2004. Devoted wife of the late Irvin Rothaus; loving mother of Betty Rothaus of Walnut Creek, CA; sister of Ethel Scott, Charles Laine and Isadore Laine; also survived by nieces and nephews. Graveside services and interment will be held on Thursday at 1 pm at Beth Shalom Cemetery. Contributions may be made to American Diabetes Assoc., 1660 Duke St., Alexandria, VA 22314 or American Cancer Society (National), 1599 Clifton Rd., N.E., Atlanta, GA 30329. Arrangements entrusted to RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, INC.

Dear Betty,
My deepest sympathy on the death of your dear mother, who I remember meeting years ago in Paris.
From seeing your wonderful work on the internet, I am sure she was really proud of you.
For some reason I was thinking about you so much yesterday and so found my way to your work and some articles, then the announcement your mother.
I lost my own father a year ago next week after a brave battle with Alzheimers.
I wish you much courage and strength in these coming days.
