Peggy and I met at Gino´s North a few years ago where she was working. I first saw her in the lobby of our building. What a great surprise to see her again. She was so friendly . I am sorry she is gone. I will miss her smile.

While I didn't know Peggy personally, her son, Steven, was a wonderful, caring doctor to my late mother (another lovely Peggy). My dad mentioned that Mrs. Gelsomino had passed away, and in looking for her obituary, I noticed all of the accolades for her pizzas at Gino's North -- which happens to be down the street from my home! I enjoyed Peggy's special yellow-crust pizza there once with a friend in the early 2000s--and had no idea it had been baked by Dr. Gelsomino's mom!
Wishing you all peace on Peggy's passing, and the comfort of fond memories.
