Peggy Rogers

Peggy Ann Rogers (n�e Auld), 64, of Sun City, FL, passed away on January 15, 2025. Born in Chicago, IL, Peggy's family moved to Temple Terrace, FL, in 1966. She attended Corpus Christi Catholic School, Greco Junior High, and King High School.

A competitive swimmer in her youth, Peggy was dedicated and driven, earning recognition from her club and high school teams. She was also a talented artist with a passion for painting, bringing beauty to life through her creativity. Her artistic abilities earned her a scholarship to Hillsborough Community College. Music was another great love of hers-she enjoyed listening to various genres and attending concerts throughout her life.

Peggy's warmth and generosity touched all who knew her. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, always ready to offer support and kindness. Her legacy is one of compassion, creativity, and love.

She was predeceased by her grandparents and namesakes, Tom and Peg Auld and John and Ann Halper, as well as her beloved grandson, Jephte Rogers. She is survived by her loving husband, Guy Rogers; her daughter, Danielle Fernandez; her parents, Ron and Shirley Auld; her sisters, Cheryl Force (Dave), Jeanne Riegel (Bobby), Debbie Auld, and Michelle Bachman (Ben); her stepchildren, Guy Rogers Jr., Major Rogers, and Aisha Rogers; along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025-what would have been Peggy's 65th birthday-at 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9715 N 56th St, Temple Terrace, FL 33617. In honor of Peggy's vibrant spirit, attendees are encouraged to wear spring colors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the Lupus Foundation of America in her memory.
