SHEDDEN, Margaret "Peggy"
March 17, 1924 – May 22, 2015
Peggy was born in Edmonton on March 17, 1924. She moved to Calgary when she married Ken Shedden after WWII in 1945. They enjoyed 65 years of marriage. Peggy was an unconditionally loving and endlessly supportive wife, mother, grandma, great- grandma and friend. She was a warm, fun- loving and elegant lady who loved life, her family, entertaining, time with her bridge club friends, gardening and travelling. She is survived by her two daughters Judy Shedden and Pat Quigley; two grandchildren Erin Quigley and Aidan (Rebecca) Quigley; and three great-grandchildren Ayla, Noah, and Sierra. She also leaves her beloved companion Bryce Chase. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Eden Brook Funeral Home (corner of 17th Avenue SW and Lower Springbank Road). I was very sorry to hear of your Mother's passing Judy and Pat. She was a beautiful heart and soul and a lovely lady. Your Mom and Father were both good friends of my Dad's, Barry Davidson.

Peggy was the BEST neighbour anyone could ask for. A true free spirited gem! We miss drinks on the balcony overlooking Earl Grey. The Sheddon tradition will continue on Longridge. Our hearts go out to the entire extended family and to Bryce.

I'm so saddened to learn of Peggy's death. For many years Glen and I lived on Longridge Dr. right across the street and enjoyed being friendly neighbours. It was fun to sit out on the back deck watching the golfers pass by. Peggy was always gracious - a true lady.
