Penelope Sue "Penny" Breault

Penelope Sue Breault, known affectionately as Penny, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024, in Roseville, CA at the age of 78. Born in Pasadena, CA on November 23, 1945, to Christos Kappos and Celia Kappos, she carried forward the family values of love and generosity throughout her life.

Penny was a devoted wife to Robert Breault and a loving mother to Robert J. Breault II (Katherine), Tammy Bennett (John), and Cindy Turk (Rick). She was a cherished grandmother to Nicholas, Stephanie, Elizabeth, Eric, Stephen, Justin, Austin, and Emily, and a proud great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, David Kappos (Arlene), and sister, Christina Brown. Penny was preceded in death by her siblings Angela Erbes, Helen Innocent, Christopher Kappos, Patricia Patterson, and Michael Kappos.

Educated at Dunsmuir Elementary, San Juan High School, and Sierra College, Penny was a lifelong learner and an active member of her community. She was deeply involved in St. Clare's Catholic Church and participated in various activities including the Elk's Lodge and Moose Club. Penny's commitment to service was evident through her constant involvement in fundraisers, particularly for women's and children's shelters.

Penny's hobbies included Bunco, which she enjoyed for over two decades, traveling across the United States in an RV upon retirement, and camping. She also had a passion for gardening, baking, and cooking, which brought joy to many gatherings.

A funeral service was held in her honor on November 9, 2024, at Calvary Chapel & Cemetery in Citrus Heights, CA, where friends and family gathered to remember her vibrant spirit and charitable heart.

Calvary Chapel & Cemetery in Citrus Heights, CA assisted the family with the arrangements, ensuring Penny's life was celebrated with dignity and love.
