Survived by wife, Bonny; daughter, Mary (Bob) Schmidt; sons, Charles "Chip" (Dawn) and Bill (Deneen); 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; brother, Mike; sisters, Pat, Marlys, Judy and Sandy; brother, Larry; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation 9AM. Memorial Mass 10 AM, Tues., Aug 23rd at Chapel of Peace, Minnesota Veterans Home, 5101 Minnehaha Ave. So., Mpls. (612-721-0600). Private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred.

Bonny, We are so sorry for your loss. We will all miss Uncle Pete greatly. The nation owes him and you a great thanks for his service in WWII. Your constancy and devotion to Uncle Pete was an example to us all. Love, Wayne and Colleen Schumack
