1930 - 2012
Peter passed away peacefully on March 13th, 2012 at the Jewish General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Pawlo Humeniuk and Anna Bilonizka. Best friend and beloved husband of Helen Chrebto. Loving Tato to Leona (Zenon) Fedorowycz and Taras (Linda) Humeniuk. Proud Dido to Michael and Rachel Humeniuk, Adriana and Alexander Fedorowycz. Loyal cousin to Mary (Adolphe) Wenger and numerous cousins in Ukraine. Caring brother-in-law, uncle and friend. A very special thank you to Doctors G. Batist, D. Melnychuck, L. Rosenberg, M. Trifero, A. Pavilanis, L. Durcan, J. Lam and CLIC at ICM for their exceptional care. Heartfelt gratitude to the Oncology team and nurse Graitha and the nurses of 8NW for your compassion, support and kindness. Visitation at Alfred Dallaire Memoria, 3254 Bellechasse
(corner St.Michel Blvd.), on Saturday and Sunday 2 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Panachydas at 7:30 p.m. both evenings. Funeral Service on Monday, March 19 at 10 a.m. at St. Sophie Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 6255 St.Michel Blvd. Burial at St.Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery, 1280 Dundas St. W., Oakville, O.N. on Tuesday, March 20th at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter's memory to St.Sophie Orthodox Cathedral or the JGH Foundation for Oncology needs would be greatly appreciated. Peter will be sadly missed by all. Vichnaya Pamyat! May his memory be eternal!

Dear Halia, My sister, Maryann, has let me know of your husband's passing. As you know, Peter had a long history with Maryann's and my parents. He served as one of their ushers when they were married in the 1950s.
