If ever we have felt the presence of ‘Abdu’l-Baha in this world, it was during our moments with you. Your memory remains ever engraved upon our hearts and minds. As we contemplate the jubilant reunion taking place in the Great Beyond, our hearts find solace. How grateful we are.

Our words are inadequate compared to the wonderful tribute paid to Dr. Khan by the Universal House of Justice, but we offer our humble prayers for the progress of his luminous soul. The friends at the Norwegian summer school said prayers in his memory and had the pleasure of hearing Mr. Dunbar's words about him. The National Assembly is also planning a memorial meeting on 13 August in Oslo. Many of the Norwegian friends have had the privilege of meeting the Khans at the summer school here in 2008 and remember them with great affection and respect. Our thought are with dear Janet and we pray for comfort and consolation for her.

“By any measure, his was a remarkable life, one of earnest striving, of unbending resolve, of unflinching dedication to principle, and of constancy of effort.”
Words cannot befittingly describe the love, kindness and laughter Dr. Khan has shared with me and my family, and his guidance so priceless.
“The Faith of God has lost a distinguished servant.”
My prayers are offered for the joy of Dr. Peter Khan’s soul, and to dear Dr. Janet Khan for continued strength through tremendously difficult times. We love you!

"O Son of Man! Ascend unto My heaven, that thou mayest obtain the joy of reunion, ..." (Baha'u'llah)
Dearest Peter, you have bequeathed to us a marvellous legacy of your treasury of intellectual brilliance, service to humanity, faithfulness and integrity, selfless giving, eloquent yet accessible wisdom, and, of course, your hilarious sense of humour! You are sorely missed. It is a certainty that you have, by now, met with angels and holy souls to regale them with stories of your service and life. You are in our prayers for the progress of your soul as you wing your way through the worlds of God. To our deeply loved and dearly cherished Janet, you are in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers.
