Peter Crawford Lanman

Antrim, NH - Peter Crawford Lanman 73 of Antrum NH passed away peacefully on September 13 2024 at home with his companion of 20 years Julie Green Schmidt by his side. Peter was born February 3 1951 in Worcester, MA to Julia Crawford Lanman of Dudley, MA and Theodore W. Lanman, both deceased. Peter attended Cardigan Mountain School in Canaan, NH and then graduated Lexington High School in Lexington, MA in 1970. He earned a Electronics Masters License in Massachusetts in 1983 and worked in Billerica, Ma repairing televisions and other electronic equipment. He moved to Antrum, NH and founded Tech Unlimited, an electronics repair business serving Antrum and southern NH areas. Peter had a lifelong love sailing frequently competitive racing Flying Dutchman sail boats on Webster Lake. He enjoyed snow skying, swimming, SCUBA diving, 4 wheeling, chess and the board game GO. Peter also attended many Blues festivals, playing guitar and had a deep passion for Porsche cars, a joy he carried throughout his life. Peter will be remembered by his friends and family for his adventurous spirit, creative ideas and his free pursuit for fun. His love for excitement and creativity left a lasting impression on those around him. Peter was preceded by his younger brother, Jonathan T. Lanman. He is survived by his younger brother Theodore J. Lanman along with many nieces, nephews along with the Crawford and Waite family cousins. A remembrance celebration will be held in the spring with a date and time TBD.
